Two words carry the whole scope. Other people’s: every entry was built by somebody else. Nothing Compound Labs makes is in here, and neither are the first-party repositories of the model vendors, which everybody who would read this index has already seen.

Shipped: an entry is a repository that exists and has been released. Running code somebody can clone today. An announcement is not one, and neither is a roadmap, a specification with no implementation behind it, a placeholder, an abandoned archive, or a template repository waiting for somebody to fill it in. Attention accumulates on all of those, so traction on its own cannot tell them apart, and the index is a list of tools rather than a list of intentions.

MCP servers, coding-agent harnesses, agent frameworks, and the tooling around them. If it is a stock-data toolkit, an observability platform or a vector database that happens to tag itself for agents, it is an honest tag and the wrong account, and it does not go in.

One signal is a coincidence. A repository can sit at four hundred stars for two years without anyone thinking about it again, and a single Hacker News thread can be the author’s friends. Two independent signals is somebody else’s editorial judgement, arrived at twice, which is the entire product of a curation lane.

The people doing that judging are named. Where the entries come from lists the curated lists the index reads, who maintains them, and which entries each one carries.

Past a point, traction stops meaning anything worth acting on. The most famous repository in the category clears every signal honestly and has nothing left to give, because everyone reading has already seen it. Traction makes an entry credible; it does not make it worth surfacing, and past a certain size the two come apart. An account that keeps posting whatever is biggest is an account that sorted by stars.

It does not test what it shares. No entry here has been run, benchmarked or reviewed, and nothing on this site will tell you a tool is good, that it works, or that it holds up, because nobody here has checked. The value on offer is coverage and one destination, not a verdict. Somebody else already did the affirming; this indexes that.

Everything on this site was posted by the accounts first. The index is a reflection of what they published, so it never contains more than they said, and every entry credits whoever built the thing.
